It all begins with a desire. A desire to move with meaning and make a change. In your own life. In someone else’s. By working with local shelters and recovery centers The Running on Faith Project celebrates people on their journey to get stronger and healthier through the power of exercise and community.

Listen to Andie, Taien and Rhett talk about The Running on Faith Project and their running journeys on CBC Radio Now or Never podcast - Segment starts at 15:42

Are you a journalist or media outlet? Andie is a compelling storyteller with a story worth telling.

She started running at 49. By 50 she ran her first half marathon. By 55 she had run her second and she had started a non-profit.

As the Founder and Executive Director of The Running on Faith Project, Andie has been recognized as Canada's Volunteer of the Year — Social Innovator for BC and the North, and received the Social Trailblazer Award at the Surrey & White Rock Women in Business Awards. She has previously been featured on CBC's Now or Never, Global Television and CKNW.

She has been called The Do-Over Queen — and she has earned it. Her story spans decades of struggle with anxiety and depression, a transformative relationship with running, six years of volunteering in Surrey's most vulnerable communities, and the founding of a charity that is changing lives one kilometre at a time.

Andie speaks with authenticity, warmth, and hard-won wisdom about recovery, resilience, mental health, social innovation, and what it means to start over at any age.

She would love to talk.
