She started running at 49 and completed her first half marathon at 50. While volunteering in the Whalley community, she had a moment that shaped everything: “I wish they could feel what it feels like to run.” That idea became The Running on Faith Project. Having lived with anxiety and depression connected to trauma, Andie experienced firsthand how movement, routine, and community can transform mental health. She brought that insight into the recovery community, starting a running group and consistently showing up — three mornings a week, rain or shine. Andie is also a certified Recovery Coach, bringing formal training and a trauma-informed approach to her work in the recovery community. What began as a small initiative has grown into a multi-site program supporting individuals in recovery and facing mental health challenges. n 2024, ROFP was named Social Innovator of the Year for BC and Northern Canada by the Government of Canada. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries.
